Mission and Vision
Go therefore and make disciples…
We exist to Glorify God, love Him, love others and make disciples of Jesus Christ. As a church we are called to first obey the Great Commandment to love God and love others (Matthew 22:36-40; Mark 12:30-31; Luke 10:27-28). We do this by a commitment to the Word of God as holy, inerrant, and infallible. The Bible is the sole source of authority for the life of a follower of Jesus Christ and we worship and love God through obedience to His Word. We also worship and obey God through care and ministry to every age group that comes through our doors (kids, students, young adults, adults, and senior adults). Next, we worship God through song that exalts and glorifies the name of Jesus. We worship Him and Him alone. Lastly, we are called to obey the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15; Acts 1:8) by making disciples. We do this by a deep commitment and passion to the teaching and preaching of God’s Word. Every ministry is designed to build relationships and come alongside individuals to teach and train as Jesus taught his disciples.
As a glimpse into where God is leading us in the future, Calvary Road has been praying for the last 3 years about the Family Life Center. God has answered our prayers and the church has voted to build the Family Life Center beginning construction (Lord-willing) in early Spring. This is a place where we believe we can fulfill our mission as a church and reach the people of Haywood County for God’s glory and purposes this side of eternity.
